Welcome to www.walnutgrovegeorgia.com, the City of Walnut Grove’s website. Our goal is that you will be served by this site just as if you walked into our City Hall/Welcome Center located at 2581 Leone Avenue (Hwy. 81) in Walnut Grove, GA. We want our site to be attractive, interesting and especially informative and helpful. On the site you can read a bit about our history, get an idea of things of interest in and around our town, view our ordinances, monitor our calendars and print park and pavilion registration forms with just a click or two of your mouse.

'We are on the way!". Yes, we are on the way to a number of popular destinations like
Athens, Atlanta, Conyers, Monroe and others. But we are also on the way to becoming a destination as well. In the fall of 2009, we welcomed the opening of Walnut Grove High School,
and the dedication and official opening of the new Walnut Grove Parkway. We are currently
negotiating with Walton County on an Intergovernmental Agreement designed to bring a
wastewater reclamation facility to our area to serve Walnut Grove and the surrounding
unincorporated Walton County. As the recipient of a $1.25 million grant from the State of
Georgia in 2009, we eagerly await the development of a new Uncle Remus library to be located in Walnut Grove.
These are but a few of the exciting things happening in our City, and they are only a part of the
reason we are the "Crossroads to Tomorrow."
